Outpatient Services

Outpatient Care

As a parent, counselor, school professional or other provider, we know how difficult it is to find realistic options for teens and their families. Our outpatient services offer an opportunity for families to get help without having to substantially disrupt their lives. We have created a holistic approach that offers multiple types of therapy and coaching in an outpatient setting. These services can be utilized prior to going to residential treatment or as aftercare when someone returns home.

Day Treatment

Day Treatment also known as Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our day treatment is designed for teens and their families. We know how hard it can be to find comprehensive, holistic solutions for mental health and substance abuse. We have created a multi-dimensional program that includes multiple evidence-based services that are known to help teens and young adults. Our day treatment program lasts between 12 and 24 weeks and can include assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, medication management with a prescriber, coaching and case management, urine drug testing, outdoor based therapies, and more. We combine these services to provide a “program” that can meet your families needs. Our talented staff have created a person centered approach that will help to assess, treat, and resolve any concerns you or your family may have.

Group Therapy

At The Nautilus Center, we recognize the immense value of adolescent group therapy in promoting holistic well-being and fostering social resilience among young individuals. Our program offers specialized group therapy sessions tailored to teens, young adults, and families, providing a supportive environment for participants to explore their emotions, build connections, and develop essential interpersonal skills. Through structured activities and guided discussions, our group therapy sessions offer opportunities for adolescents to learn from one another’s experiences, gain perspective, and practice effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.

We are committed to providing accessible therapeutic resources that empower young people to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. Our group therapy sessions are designed to address a range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to substance abuse and family dynamics. By offering a variety of group options, we ensure that participants can find a supportive community where they feel understood and accepted. Through our program, young individuals can develop the social and emotional skills they need to thrive in their relationships, academic pursuits, and future endeavors. Therapeutic Services

Extended Day Treatment/Day Treatment

Our Extended Day Treatment/Day Treatment Program is designed for teens who are not in need of residential care or teens who are returning home from residential treatment. Extended Day Treatment services run 5 days per week while Day Treatment services can be attended in the morning or evening 3 days per week. Both Extended Day Treatment and Day Treatment include individual therapy, medication management, Recovery Coaching, urine drug testing, and experiential therapies

Teen Therapy

Our Teen Therapy program offers a number of types of weekly individual therapy. These can include traditional talk therapy, experiential therapies, trauma therapy, etc. Our clinical team features providers who specialize in various forms of therapy.

CBT/DBT

CBT and DBT are currently considered the industry standard for adolescent therapy. We have seen favorable results with both of these options and they are heavily incorporated into our program. We strongly believe in the tools of CBT and DBT to help teens manage their emotions and find stability.

Trauma Therapy

For years we have known that unless we get to the core of the issue we won’t fix it. With this in mind, our organization is trauma integrated and focuses strongly on the treatment of trauma. Whether it’s EMDR, coping skills, trauma informed yoga, or other services, we work daily to help people manage their adverse experiences and find resolution.

Experiential Therapy

Engaging teens is challenging, for this reason our team provides various forms of therapy such as adventure based, animal assisted, yoga therapy, art therapy, etc

Recovery Coaching and Peer Support

While we strongly believe in the benefits of therapy, we have seen the success of having a recovery coach in early recovery. Each participant will receive a recovery coach upon intake. These coaches focus on life skills, educational support, community engagement, discharge planning, etc.

Peer Support Specialists also play an important role in recovery. Not only do we encourage Peer Support in our program, we also have an ongoing training program to facilitate community growth in this area. Certification and training sessions are available at select times throughout the year. See more about our upcoming events here.

Medication Management

While we don’t believe everyone should be on medication, there are times where it is the most appropriate intervention. Our medical provider sees patients weekly to assess for emergent concerns, manage medications, and help with other medical concerns.
