Our Program
Our Treatment Philosophy
We know that not all families are the same. For this reason we have created a personalized treatment process for each person that comes through our doors. We strongly believe that each person we meet deserves top quality care from compassionate professionals.
Inspired by the concepts of resilience, relationships and recovery, we have created a multi-dimensional program that includes group therapy, individual therapy, medication management, life skills, academic support, adventure based counseling, peer supported recovery coaching, and more.
How the Nautilus Center Utilizes Our 3 Pillars Philosophy:
Recovery
Recovery is a concept that can be applied to many areas of mental health and substance abuse treatment. Not only are we concerned with the healing aspects of mental health care, but we are also focused on the process of repair for trauma, psychological conditions, and the hurdles of co-occurring disorders . We aim to provide a scaffolding for sustained health in these areas for adolescents and young adults.
Relationships
Relationships are vital for development. Teaching family and social interaction is a key component of our program. Our goal is to support adolescents and young adults to fulfill social needs and/or family connection in ways that are both health, and enjoyable.
Resilience
We believe in teaching resilience as a core principle of our program.. Overcoming adversity, and the unknown, is a tool which is essential for building confidence and a stronger sense of self-efficacy. Resilience also increases the statistical odds of a promising future in adolescents.
The 3 Pillars of Our Program
Resilience
The ability to manifest positive outcomes in the face of adversity
Relationships
The essential need to be seen by others and feel affiliated
Recovery
The process of learning to thrive without abusing substances
How We Help
Adolescent Program
Millions of teens are struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. Our team of highly trained professionals specialize in adolescent age (13-18) mental health and substance abuse treatment. Our holistic program combines a number of evidence based approaches to give you and your family the care you need.
Young Adult Program
The Young Adult program focuses on the specific challenges facing young adults today. Combining group and individual therapy with experiential therapies, we have created a go to resource for young adults who may be struggling with substance use or mental health concerns.
Although each person has an individual experience, we have many shared needs and values. Creating a community of joy, respect and understanding helps us to feel part of something bigger than ourselves and confidently launch into young adulthood.
Family Program
We believe that mental health and substance use show up in systems. Our family program is designed to help overcome some of the barriers that family systems face when a loved one is in treatment. Our team is here to support you and your family throughout the journey.
Often, family members are key ingredients to feelings of acceptance, affiliation and affirmation. Our family program focuses on maximizing the skills needed to build and sustain those ingredients.
