Community

Family Components

We know that families are the backbone of recovery. Our team takes pride in offering various family services throughout each week. Our family services are designed to help create safe spaces where each person can find a recovery community and support. These can include family therapy (with our without the teen), family coaching, family workshops, or just family support. Upon intake, each family will receive a family therapy session where basic concepts will be covered. We will develop a “Home Agreement” for each participant where we can help create new systems. On an ongoing basis each family will continue to receive family services appropriate to their situation. Additionally, families will have access to a family therapist throughout the week to provide support for when situations arise.

Community Engagement

The Nautilus Center for Mental Health takes pride in our desire to create high-quality, accessible care for teens, young adults, and their family. Our program is designed to assess, treat, and help each participant to find their own recovery. To this end, we have partnered with multiple community organizations to provide an opportunity for each participant to find a recovery community that fits their lives. Whether its adventure based treatment, recovery focused activities, yoga practices, teen recovery support groups, peer support trainings, alumni services, or just knowing where to find support when needed, our program is deeply invested in building strong recovery communities.

Support Groups

Once engaged in the program, families and clients will have access to various support groups. These groups are designed to provide a safe place for teens and their families to give and receive support. These support groups may also take the form of weekend activities, nature based coaching, community activities, etc. We believe strongly in helping teens to find a safe place to explore recovery.
